The typical timeline for tests that students will take throughout high school is as follows:
8th Grade
- Regents Exams
- *Algebra 1 in June (for accelerated students)
9th Grade
- Regents Exams
- *Living Environment (Biology) in June
- *Algebra 1 in June
10th Grade
- Regents Exams
- *Global History in June
- Earth Science or Chemistry in June
- *Algebra 1 (Extended class) in June
- Geometry in June
- PSAT (for practice) in October
11th Grade
- Regents Exams
- *English (E.L.A.) in JANUARY & June
- *U.S. History in June
- Algebra 2/Trigonometry in June
- Chemistry or Physics in June
- PSAT in October
- ASVAB in November
- A.P. Exams in May (if course offered)
- ACT in April or June
- SAT in May or June
12th Grade
- Regents Exams
- Chemistry or Physics in June
- ACT (retake) in October
- SAT (retake) in November
- SAT Subject Test(s), if required in November, January or May
